Best light weight battery
What are you guys running for light weight batterys? I'm in the market for a new battery, I figured I might as well shed a few pounds in the process. I've used the JGY battery in the past and it worked pretty good for me but I'm looking for other options this time around. Mainly just to see what brand everyone is using is the main point of the thread. All commentary welcome, positive or negative.

* If you guys have any pics available, feel free to post them up.

I previously ran a odyssey. But I'm running a optima now. The odyssey dies on me since Barney was rarely driven for 2 years lol. If you really wanna shed weight, look into VoltPhreaks batteries. They are very pricey, but they have batteries as light as 5lbs!

Just run like 5 D batteries, you'll be good bro! jk Yeah last time I went with optima due to it being the only thing that could hang

im using a Kinetic in my B13 and i have no problem with it. I dive my car about once a week. I put it in its stock location and mounted it sideways so i can have more room.

I also ran an Odyssey and only stopped b/c it died after 1 year and would not hold a charge. Just went back to a standard nissan.

I had one of those lightweight battery but it died on me. I went with a miata battery from autozone and I like it very much.

I"m currently using a Panasonic lawn tractor battery. Not super-light,but about 10 lbs.I've gotten 2 years out of it so far.I paid $49 at a local mower shop, and it starts my car daily form March to November. It can't handle the really cold weather,so I stick the Diehard back in it for the winter.Requires no special care that I've found.

Does it list a CCA rating? I have seen those and wondered about getting one.
