Nissan to make another mistake?
Ok, so i'm sitting here taking my Chrysler tests since i'm out of work because of my knee surgery, and i see a headline, WTF???

So Nissan is going to make a fuel efficient car and sell it under the Chrysler name, and Chrysler is going to make a pickup truck and sell it under the Nissan name.....Thoughts?

Yeah its a bunch of crap. They're making a "Chrysler Versa" and marketing it down in south america too.

So be it, Nissan needs sales and the car is already there. In exchange they get to use Chrysler Manufacturing plants to produce a Nissan designed truck! It is win win really.

i have to agree with Coach , Besides Nissan has allways made car engines and platforms to interchange in order to save cost of overall production.

Expect Nissan to have dumb a$$ recalls as we know the history of Chrysler recalls....

edit: sorry, its vice versa, chrysler will manufacture the truck under nissans name

Booooo!!! How lame.

Can just nissan stick with renault and call it a day.

What nissan should do is to bring the Renault Clio V6 Renault Sport and re-badge it here it the states as a Nissan.

No, not gonna happen, that would be too obvious. And we all know Nissan won't take action on what is obvious.

I don't agree with the semi merger with Chrysler, as they have a history of dumb recalls and lower than industry quality standards....IMO

I'm interested to see how this is going to play out. Might not be a bad thing!
