Thread: WTF now , My brake light n Baterry light r on!!!

Any idea ? I just changed Alt about 2 months ago....

Replaced with an autozone unit? Mine usually goes out every 2 months or so. Lol

Alternator, find a multimeter and check it.

Bad/loose connection??? Once I got my VE in my car I drove it for a week till it came on. The power terminal wasn't tightened all the way on the alt.

Alternator for sure or loose connection. Either way has to do with the charging system. Only way the battery light will come on.

Buy a used Nissan Alt from me. I sell them for $78 shipped.

Those rebuilt Alts never last more than 4 months. I sell these used alts all the time with no complaints here on the forum. They all come of of low mileage VE motors.

Yep, very true. Ive seen more autozone and other non oem alternators go bad. OEM is the way to go and cant go wrong with getting one from Andreas.

Yep I've had the alt lights before. Autozones are garbage. Low mileage JDM unit is the way to go.

It's a rebuilt Nissan one... I can't use the autozone one's they don't clear the side of my JMR Header...
