temp. gauge
Okay my temp. Meter keep reading cold when I drive it. And when i come to a stop about 2min it would start to climb up and when I start driving again it would go all the way down to cold. But if I let it just sit with the engine running it would go all the way close to half and stop there where it suppose to be. can anyone help me out. Can it be my dash? Also it doing the same in my little bro sentra too. we both just got new temp. Sensor too.

I'm not sure but is it making my ECU think it in cold start since my temp. meter always reading cold while driving?

Sounds like the wrong temp sensor. What cluster are you using? I believe one sensor is just for the gauges and the there is a separate one for the ECU. You need to check the resistance of he switch. At 149*F it should read 60-70 Ohms, and at 196*F it should read 21-24 Ohms.

Both should be USDM so they are read correctly. The little one with the single plug is just for the cluster.

I replaced my thermo and tps. It's new cluster so like The car has mind of its own. It's only in The morning though at cold start. I let it warm up until it passes the line than I take off and only goes up if I let it sit
