Thread: List of fastest SR20-powered vehicles by year?

I was wondering something on the way in to work today. I don't believe I've ever seen a list of SR's by year and who has the fastest.

Now, fastest comes in many different forms, but I'm just thinking whp. I know there are plenty of people out there who don't go to dyno's and run extremely fast times in road racing or at the drag strip. Unfortunately, to keep things simple, this should only be done with printed dyno sheets.

Would this make for a good sticky, or doesn't anybody really care?

Also, I would say that the list of cars should range from 1991-2002 (which would include the '02 G20). Also, since the larger proportion of guys on here are FWD, it should also be limited to that as well.

I think this would be fun, as someone who has a 96, may not be in the 500whp, but could be tops in his/her year. Something to shoot for.

Also, the cars should have SR's in them as well, so none of those VQ swapped cars allowed (SE-L...). LOL

Instead of bragging rights for most powerful SR20 by year, I'd really rather see a list of the top power producers, and fastest (1/4 mile) possibly splitting 1/4 mile between FWD and RWD/AWD.

Except instead of by chassis code, it would be done by engine code. So SR20 only. Maybe add an N/A section.

That list would help a lot more I believe.

But that's pretty much what is in the Drag Racing section, or at least was in the other forum.

I thought it would also be nice to have it listed by year.
