200sx b14 clutch cable creeks all day
Anybody has This issue changed cable twice within 5 Years.doesn't make any sense.it Doesn't engage any different just creeks like a door.someday almost silent and someday like the cable is about to break.any one ever have this problem before?thanks in advance

Its a cheap mod, and it has worked wonders on mine and a few others se-r's.

My cables would always creak until they would snap. You can get a can of motorcycle/dirt bike cable lubricant with an adapter to force the lubricant down the cable. It helps but you have to take the cable out and reapply the lubricant every few weeks.

Lube the spring and pivot on the pedal by the firewall?

Are you using Nissan or auto parts store cables?

boomstick just sprayed a crapload of wd40 where the cable comes through the firewall.....it stopped making the horrid noise you're decribing......and also don't buy the crappy parts store cables......oem is the only way to go....the rest are crap

Cool guys ima go n do that tomorrow. And lube it up wit some of the grease from the poly bushings I had.yea I have a hem cable only time I broke them constantly was when my pressure plate was shot.I haven't lost adjustment just makes that annoying creaking noise.ill let you know how that turns out.
