5th gear swap or flip how hard
Got a tranny with fifth gone and one with a good fifth. How hard is it to swapem? What tools do I need?

Not hard at all. Regular tools plus some snap ring pliers (or improvised). Have you seen the How To?

and
bearing separator
were put to good use removing the old fifth gear synco hub and installing the new one when I did the job.

its pretty simple... I did it to a transmission in my room in about 2 hours, taking my time. Should be simple!
