Thread: B13 variable intermittent wiper mod? YES!

I've been wracking my brain over this, so next trip to the junkyard I'm coming home with a B13 wiper switch and an adjustable stalk from a Maxima/Stanza/240/D21 etc. I'm thinking the amplifier in the B13 switch might except the stalk with the "volume" knob, although actually getting it to "vary" may be a different story.

So the EDM NX wiper switch is a no-go then?

Not a no-go just yet....

Just got back from the JY with some parts, although at first glance it does not look like the adjustable '91 Maxima stalk will fit into the Sentra switch.

I'll post the results once I dig in....

And it does not. The stalk mounting configuration and internal contacts are entirely different.

From what I can see in pics it looks like the PHDM switch is plug and play. From what I can tell from pics of the EDM NX switch it looks like I'd have to swap the stalk and circuit board into my USDM housing. I'd still have the rear wiper control which really isn't a big deal, it just wouldn't be used.

If I can't get my hands on a PHDM switch I'll give the EDM piece a go. The search continues...
