I've been trying acetone in gas. I have measured a very distinct increase in mileage. Last tank I got 40.2mpg for my normal commute. Typical commute gets me 32-33mpg. Best I have ever calculated previously was an interstate-only trip last year at 35mpg.

There's something to that acetone thing....

I have the CA-40 sitting on my shelf. Haven't even barely touched either car since the post. Now I'm running the B13 for daily which isn't gonna be guinea pigged with gypsy tears.

1992 SE-R. Engine mods are: Gen1 Hotshot, K&N drop-in filter, and a Borla muffler, and 150,000 miles. That's it.

I am trying it on the wife's Escape. Initial testing there didn't show any improvement, but I'm doing another tank to be sure. I'm also trying on the weekend track car (also an SE-R) that is significanlty more modified than the daily-driver SE-R.

We'll see...

Good results in my other weekend/track/autox SE-R. 184 miles on 5.3 gallons = 34.9mpg. That's the best mileage I've ever recorded on that particular car, and I've owned it for 10 years and 80,000 miles (had 40,000 extremely easy miles on it when I got it).
