Unlike a classified ad in the guise of a published article on MotoIQ, this is a general forum with forum-related organizational needs, and it's a little vain to want the same grade of top biling and content control.

I'm still a fan and adherent of everything Kojima and MotoIQ, but if you can engineer a beautiful, slick performance car, you can take an extra two minutes and apply it to the established forum format of selling stuff. It will get the same eyeball traffic, I guarantee it!

I really don't have the time to read the rules and study the forum to figure out the right way to do things. Its my bad.

I agree it's a little overcomplicated and actually IMO unnecessary. I tried talking sense to the forum when the new F/S section was implemented, but to no avail. Perhaps we take a second look?

i actually like it.

forces people to make a proper for sale add. instead of the usual moronic posts that leave you thinking wtf are you selling and how much.

Yeah I agree, the new for sale format is much nicer, I like having a direct email or phone # to call if something goes wrong or what not. Plus its nice and organized..

On the other hand I don't think their going to force ya to comply this time mike so I wouldn't worry to much. Its cool that you gave them a look over though.

p.s sell this car to blairellis

But it's sort of biased against people who are unfamiliar with internet coding, yes even basic coding like image and bold tags.. no big deal, just have someone who is more familiar with doing it, but even me, who runs a website and such, had to go at it a few tries because it kept saying I had done it wrong. And then everytime you have to re-do something, the state of sale resets to default, and you have to put your state back in the field. Sure it only takes a second but it's a pain. Sorry not trying to be a complainer, I appreciate the for sale forum and I've sold and purchased many items, but it could be a bit more user friendly.

yea i agree it took me a while to get use to the new format.

in Mikes defense, the car really is well documented, he provided a link to lots of pics an several paragraphs describing the car.

i do think it belongs in the cars section though.

I don't see how it could be more user friendly...it already tells you what you need to fill out if you simply just read.

Sometimes people want things given to them on a silver platter (not personally directed at you, Jordan).

That's it plain and simple.

Too many people have been taken for a walk on sales. I know Mike K has a great reputation but, he is a forum memeber just like any other and we have rules.

I am a moderator on this forum and I have been a member of the community for nearly 17 years and I need to follow the rules and Classified guidelines just like any other person.
