How do I get my CO lower????UPDATED, AFTER TIMING/FUEL and PLUGS DONE!!!!
The first test

Did a cap rotor wires plugs are 3-4 weeks old (bkr6's) changed fluids retarded timing by eye

The 2nd test

Fucking co how do I lower it

3rd test, put a new cat on.....old cat was shattered apart on the insides......

Im baffled is there anything else left to do other then getting it tuned leaner?...i still want to change plugs to bkr7e's and get a new air filter, maybe o2 sensor

4th test, after i had marsh pull timing and fuel from the tune, and with new plugs bkr7e's after the old ones looked like this...

If your engine is running too cold it can raise CO.

X2. Drive around town in 3rd gear for about 15min to get the egt's nice and hot, and get the test done right away without shutting off the car.

What type of manifold do you run, and is the O2 sensor located in 1 primary, or where 2 merge?

Come on guys 4th time failing all the easy cheap simple stuff I've done both times were after atleast 25 mins of hard driving.....hard driving isn't going to kill a full 2% of carbon monoxide, I think it's mechanical, and mojo I was thinking bout that earlier I don't even know if I'm running an o2 sensor on the car

Well, then check that out!

A friend of mine had a similar problem with his P11 GT, he had an aftermarket manifold where the O2 sensor was mounted on 1 of the primaries, whereas the stock location is where 2 primaries merge to the secondaries. When he switched to a stock setup, there wasn't any CO left in the exhaust gases.

No O2's will cause the car to run in open loop thus making it run rich cause the ecu still thinks the car is cold.

How can you retard timing by eye? That may be the problem right there. Timimg lights are cheap you can probably pick one up at harbor for less than $20.
Found this thread in a google search it may help you out.

i know you said you checked the easy shit, but make sure you have a nice new air filter, (or take it off for the test), check TPS and coolant temp sensor (the bigger one)
