Madea nissan horn button.
So i had some old nissan stickers laying around, and a extra horn button. What yall think.

What i made today since i cant leave the couch with the diverticulitus What yall think? Got tired of the horn buttons out there for sale, wanted somethign that looks old school. Since my dad has one of the few old momo white nissan horn buttons in his truck.

Just so tired of all the crap ones on ebay, want a simple one, not carbonf iber, not red, not goddy and crappy looking. Just simple like the old ones.

I wanted to do some more datsun ones to, but i dont have any 1.5 inch datsun stickers left, all 1.75. But i had these nissan ones left so i figured why not and see how it looks. I love the old emblem compared to the new stuff to.

I had made a few nismo emblems on my CNC at work many years back. I made the hamburger emblems shown below (sorry for the shitty quality pic)

And I also made them for the center caps of my wheels on my old b14 as well.

I posted them up on the old forum seeing if there was an interest in them, also stating I could make them say anything you want in the center. I got flamed hard for them, and needless to say I didn't try to pursue making or selling them to anyone afterwards.

In fact I think I still have a few sets in my toolbox LOL

i like the idea
of doing a custom wheel center cap sticker. something to more personalize your ride. but how to securely attach it? epoxy? i've got my wheels so hot to melt the manufacturers cheap-ass glue! a retro (60's) datsun symbol is cool. i also like the nismo idea. lets see/hear some more ideas

I cut them to fit very snugly into the hole that was in the wheel (I had to tap them in with a rubber mallet). I glued them in with industrial grade silicone. I never got my wheels super hot or anything, but they never fell out. I made them out of plexiglas, so I'm sure the plastic itself would fail before the adhesive.

They weren't stickers at all. They were engraved and paint filled plex (as mentioned above). I don't remember the combustion temp of the plex off hand, but I'm sure they could be made out of a more heat friendly material (such as aluminum); however, they would be much more time consuming to make. They were more of a novelty than a race part, although we do all know having "nismo" on your car does add at least 10hp per emblem

The other thing I should note is you no longer have access to the hub nut. The only way to get to it is to remove the wheel, but honestly you would remove the wheel if you needed to get to that nut anyways.
