i have the sr20 harness and everything

i need to know

A.) i've heard wires on the interrior harness need switched, which ones?

b.) are there two wires to hook together so the car will start with out a clutch switch?

ok, so thats what i have to do to get it to start, just take off the switch and use that like a clutch switch?

what about the harness going into the inside?
do i have to rewire anything to accept the sr20 harness to the ga car?

I have no connectors on my clutch pedal or on my tranny hooked up. I just left the shift inhibitor(located on the transmission)

plugged in and locked it in the PARK postion. And do what i have pictured to the shifter and it should crank right up. With out needing to even push the pedal down. basically tricking the ecu to think its in Park

What is there about the interior wiring that you are asking about?

i've heard you need to re-wire some of the wires that plug into the interror plug

The cluster is different and some of the other dash harnesses are different. The GXE ECU has less wires going to it than the SER.
I am doing the same swap but i am using all of the SER harnesses to avoid all of this trouble.
What you are going to need to do is get wiring diagrams for both and figure out what needs to be switched.

so it will still start though, then later i can figure it out
or switch the entire dash harness later on

i'll have the motor in today and i'm just trying to avoid as much problems as possible

my 4-door car is an xe if that matters

and the se-r was a base model with power nothing and no sun roof, not even cruise control

ok car won't turn over

on the se-r there are 2 spots for this, on the xe there is one, do i wire them together or???

the 2 wires on the left are on the sr20 harness, the one on the right is the wire on the car
