haha no its just at 4500 rpms no matter what thats whats really weird haha i'll get a video up today

Oh does this only happen under load or when your also free revving the engine?

That doesn't sound good at all, can you pop the hood, raise the RPM from inside the hood and see if you hear anything.

i fixed it haha it was dumb :/

there was some metal attached to the cat that was vibrating... I just don't get why it was only at that rpm haha but its gone

thank god for no knocking but on the other hand...I could've swaped a turbo motor in :/ lol

Man... that even scared me... But I know how that felt.. I was getting this really bad noise at about 3500-4k.. Come to find out it was the extra bunge that came with the SSAC on the dp. It was loose and didn't know what the hell it was for like 3 days.

haha yeah scared the **** outta me since i drive 2 hours ever weekend if that motor blew i was ****ed lol but on the other hand...turbo motor haha

nah that didnt sound like rod knock, rod knock is very distinct, beginning stages of it will do it at slight load at almost all rpms above 3k, as it worsens it will do it louder and more frequent under most throttle positions and engine load. My buddies nx has beginning stages of it, you can tell it just spun the bearing, it does it at 2500 or so and while your reving it up or under load, not under just steady throttle and rev. It will worsen over time. That definetly sounded like a metalic rattle. Its probably due to resonance why it did it at only 4500 rpms. Weird crap like that happens all the time.

you should get the bung tapped if not being used.
