How did you end up working the iacv and ecu issues? What ecu did you use, and was the rr engine just the head, or the whole thing? Was it from a 5sp or an auto previously?

Most of the questions are not needed.

RR motor with.94-99 lowport intake manifold snd heater pipes and it goes right in in any 91 to 99 sr20 equiped car

It raced many sr cars and has surprised all of them, many wins maybe 1-2 losses.
Thumbs up on the roller rocker motors

I was about yo say the same thing. That cat moves well, it spins first from a roll and second just rides out. Im sure his car can take down an untuned ve

Also there are 2 different types of RR motors.

There is the JDM RR motor with side feed injs and the USDM and JDM RR motor with top feed injs.

If you get the one with side feed injs you do not have to change the intake manifold. It goes in just like a VE would.

This is a whole JDM Blacktop Roller Rocker SR20DE. I used the Intake manifold, fuel rail, and intake from a 99 USDM G20 along with the hard coolant lines. The 99 G20s AICV and AAC both work with the B13 ECU apparently. I figured id try it so Id have the newer aac and AICV. Everything worked perfectly. Coolant temp sensor is a brand new one for the B13 se-r. Tb is a modified to work high port for now. Starter is a b13 starter. The car is running off the Stock 1993 B13 SE-R ECU and is also running a stock b13 maf and wiring harness. Nothing had to be extended on the wiring harness either. Everything plugged right in with some manuvering of the harness to make sure nothing was streteched or stressed.

This is a great swap for a B14. Not so much for the B13 as you basically have to have a lowport Sr20de at your disposal for it to work. Which is kinda difficult when youve only been hoarding high port parts.

This motor DEF runs alot stronger then a highport DE in a 5spd 93 g20. Thats all ive had to compare it to so far (Scrildos DE g20) but it walked away from it easily. Granted thats more weight then the B13. But im pretty sure even a stock highport b13 vs Roller rocker b13 would be close to the same. This motor at 7100rpms still wants to rev more. Its almost like its making peak power at 7100 cause it pulls all the way to it.

Either way, I agree! Great DD motor.
