Pretty sure those two lines you think go to the aac valve are coolant lines. AAC valve hoses are thick and formed.

If you live in a cold climate leave the throttle body plugged in. The green arrow ones are not needed.

i know that their coolant lines.. i didn't mean they connect directly into the aac valve.. they go to where the green arrows are pointing in the first pic.. are their only 4 spouts coming out of the hard line 2 for the heater core and two smaller ones to warm up the aac valve on the plenum..?? i just figured the two lines you told me to loop would be located right there near the other small spouts but their MIA

All the auxiliary devices that get coolant are all in series on these cars. That means water leaves one of the water necks, goes through the cold idle valve part, then through the TB, then maybe through the EGR section, then maybe on to the intake manifold (lowport only?)...

My point is, they all feed one into the next. So, and I'm guessing here because I've never actually seen a high-port up close but I bet water goes to the TB and then on to the cold idle valve section you put green arrows on.

Following me?

The exception seems to be the DET engines, which have seperate coolant runs for the turbo, and likely for the oil cooler (for those that have them). Vadim would know more about how the DET oil cooler has its water source plumbed.

yes i noticed that on that non US fsm for the b13 and n14's showed some nice exploded view diagrams around page 183 vol1 but it don't really seem like it runs parallel like that that's where i started to get confused.. like if i was missing something.. but i guess what happened was, who ever had the motor b4 me looped the lines right there into the aac in & out now i can sleep and continue maƱana =) thanks everyone!
