Main Bolts -- Washers or No?
Hey,
Do the main bolts have washers on them? Anyone have an oil pan off that can look? Pics?
Thanks!

I cant recall there ever being washers. The FSM does not break out washers for the main bolts either. It does for head bolts. And studs are different and use washers but cant recall the factory bolts ever having washers. They have the hatted surfaces at the base of the head of the bolt but dont think there are washers.
I just cant ever remember there being washers and ive taken apart and built countless SR's.

Well i guess i was wrong, I guess i just transfer them over soo quick I dont even remember them being there.
FSM sucks balls then too. It separates washers on everything else except the head bolts.
Oh well. Let me go look at the pics of my bottom end in my build thread. BRB

Yep, definitely washers there. These are the pics of my bottom end with GTIR main bolts.
My memory is slipping, hahaha.
