Car wont start...
Trying to figure it out.

Bottom alternator bolt fell out and the belt fell off. Don't ask, no idea how.

So I got another bolt and put it on along with the belt. Car cranks, but will not start.

Only thing I did was un-do the battery terminals before I proceded working on the car.

When you undid your terminals by any chance did you disconnect any other plug? Double check again. Check the battery voltage too.

All connections I can find are connected. I've got spark. I can smell fuel in the cylinders. Still not firing up.

Check your fuses. When your ignition fuse takes a crap the car would not start.

Do you know that smell is coming from the cylinders? Make sure your fuel pump is working just to check.

Did the car get flooded when you lost spark?

and/or

Did your plugs get fouled?

I agree. Check the condition of the spark plugs and post pics, then go from there.

Did you try cranking it with your foot to the floor?

Hey Blair,

I think I had a similar problem today. Well my car wouldn't even crank, but hitting the starter with a hammer put it back to place and make it work like a charm
