Thread: Vibration coming from the passenger side of a P11

From the passenger side of my P11, I have a wierd vibration. It vibrates so bad that it shakes the headlight & you can feel it on the passenger side floor board & feel it in the seat. Its so bad that girls have confessed to the car vibrating on their vajayjay's But seriously, Ive put the car up on lifts with friends & none of us can figure out where its coming from. At first we thought it was coming from the AC pulley. So I bought a smaller belt & eliminated it & nothing, still vibrates. We checked the bumper & headlights & tightened bolts & nothing, still vibrates. This all started after I changed the alternator. What could it be? It vibrates when its idling & increases slightly when driving. When i switch the car from DRIVE to NUETRAL, you can hear the pitch of the vibration changing.

I left the car with a mechanic. He said the vibration was coming from the crank pulley. Is that even possible?

The pulley likes to split. The outer ring detaches from the inner. I've seen it a hundred times but never seen it cause so much vibration as you are stating.
