Thread: Throttle body that are interchangeable for a low port?

So I tried convertimg my highport tb to lowport...no go.

I'm trying to see what throttle boddies CAN BE USED. I'm havimg a hardd time finding one local and would rather not wait. The 84 300z looks the same kinda alomg with a few others. Didn't have time to check though.

VE works you just have to loop the coolant lines and you lose cruise control (which is why i swapped mine out) not sure on the tps plug, i don't remember having to switch it.

Lol if I had a ve tb id have a ve! Wishful thinking on a poor mans budget

it's not any bigger or anything, just different. the coolant lines are the wrong size and no cruise (it's actually set up for computer controlled cruise where one cable opens one closes but it won't work with a normal cable)





it's not really doing me any good sitting in my basement, let me know if you want it
