Thread: plugs

Going to get new plugs tomorrow. first time since I've owned the car so I imagine it could use them by now. any suggestions? I'm going to be limited to what I can get at advanced or auto zone so keep that in mind. No credit card so no online ordering for me. also, everything I've read said not to gap the plugs in our cars...? Any suggestions?

Just get the ngk double platinum plugs, I've had problems with the iridium plugs before

BKR6E is what I use. Change every 10k miles.

^thats what i used as well. changed them yearly gapped at .035 iirc.

The ones I have been getting recently come pregapped at what the computer says it should be (i still check then anyway)
