I give this ba cable 5 months. They blow. Oem dont have issues if u take care of them

that makes no sense, I'd start looking into WHY they keep breaking..I've had the same clutch cable for over 5 years(unknown time of previous owner..could be 10+ years old) and I've used an ACT clutch for the last 2 years and it's still going strong.

That's weird oem should last. My fathers 93 b13 is still on the original cable since he bought it new back in 92. And my 91 is still on the original cable too. But clicks when I apply the clutch.

He said his clutch is a complete oem set up.

Andreas Miko's tranny saver bracket is definitely a good investment. Not sure why it works so well but it does.

First thing I noticed is that it gives you the play needed to adjust the cable correctly. Before my cables were always at max adjustment.

did he replace or reuse throw out bearing clips..? could be staying half way.

did u see the pin on the old cable looks bent. the parts inside the trans may need lubed up bad.

OEM clutch cable since 2006. Besides being out of room for adjusting as of a few months ago, no other issues.

A cable fraying typically would indicate dirt in the cable causing a fray.
