Beck Arnley Clutch Cable vs. OEM
This is the 3rd OEM cable in less than 3 years. I am so sick of them I am ready to build my own. Well anyway, in a bind I found a Beck Arnley. Here are the difference. Enjoy:
BTW, my clutch is a complete OEM set up:

Don't trust the screw or whatever that is on the end of the Beck Arnley cable. It once snapped right off while driving and came off the tranny. I had to pull over and do a quick fix with a screw and bolt to get home. Not fun. Not sure how your snapping the cables on oem clutch maybe time for miko tranny bracket idk? Have you been lubing the new cables before install?

That's werid, I've had one oem cable snap on me and put in a beck arnley. It got a very bad grind feel within two weeks. Got an OEM and been on that same one for over two years.

Hopefully you'll have better luck with your beck arnley.

beck doesn't make any of their own parts as far as I know they re package parts from manufactures from what I have seen their cables (clutch e-break) come from an Italian manufacture and are of acceptable quality at best. when ordering beck parts from rock auto they often ship from a warehouse in smyrna tn ( Nissan factory is located in that town) which I find interesting.

I have the tranny bracket. It definately takes pressure off the cable. I lubed this cable well before I installed it.

did you drill out the clutch bracket to move it back so you can adjust the clutch without over adjusting or tightening the cable? That is all I ever had to do. I have always had extreme PP with 6 puck sprung disc or street disc and never once have I broken a clutch cable or bracket or a clutch arm in all the setups I have done.

The bracket Andreas makes has a reducer welded on it already so I do not need to drill the bracket out anymore. I have plenty of thread left on this cable.
