That's what alot of wreckers use welded rims. All of them in my area use that kinda funny.

Every yard ive ever been to uses welded rims to hold their cars up. You think they are gonna spend money on blocks or jackstands when the shitty steelies that come on the cars are free. Not like anyone buys them. lol
