ive used techtron, i run it a few times a year. ive always have in all my cars.

use it a week before a oil change. the stuff it removes ends up in your oil. so basically you dont want that stuff floating around for too long.

all the other stuff i dont believe works, but thats imho. i may be and prolly am wrong.

inside the engine, automatic tranny fluid! drive a few miles before oil change.

I've heard this before, also heard of guys running alcohol mixing tranny fluid in with it...

a friend of mine just removed valve cover, oil pan and upper oil pan and just used H7 mixed with some gasoline and sprayed all over the inside of the engine and let it work for just a few minutes the just used a pressure washer and just cleaned the hell out of it. reinstall everything back, put a really cheap oil filter and cheap oil let the engine run for like 45min with no load just a few revs and change the oil for new one and oem oil filter and never had an issue. Thats what im planning to do with mine since is on a engine stand a lot much easier!
