Thread: 4-1 headers

picked these up at a junkyard off a g20t 5 speed wanted to know what anyone thinks they are worth. and are these better than SSAC headers?

iirc thats a stillen header.

its been out done by the newer ssac 2.5 headers. it was even out done by the 2nd gen hotshot header.

if you got it for cheap awesome, use it.

got it for dirt cheap but i have a ssac 2.5 so i was curious as to if this was better

its deffinatly not.

i do like the design though. id like to see it converted to bigger pipes, stepped, with a decent collector and a 2.5 choke to 3 inchs.

it would prolly put in work.

Haven't seen a Stillen header in probably a decade.

It's a decent header. With what Stratton said it would really fkn rock.

They work dreat on DE's, felt better on my DE than the ssac.

Was this the one that had the problem with the downpipe hanging too low (causing dents when hitting roadside obstructions)

Or was that the AEBS

AEBS and a couple other longer tubed 4-1. This is shorty.

this one is short. but im rocking a ve so yeah! my thought are just sell it haha
