Mickey Mouse seat belts might still save yer bacon
Can't find the thread or maybe it's over on teh old site.
So 'Bob' (94 LE) has the silly motorized shoulder belts. They actually lock up at some modest g-loads. Heavy braking or serious turns will do the trick it seems. Lap belt stays loose unfortunately tho, maybe it needs g loads >1. Which is another reason to dislike this setup.
Sorry ... hate with a passion (stupid US regulations)

Just make sure to unlock it by hand before parking otherwise it gets cranky when you open the door and it tries to motor track forward while locked.

Too funny, my son Leo, who is barely 1.5 years old can kick the back of front seats from his forward facing in a 4dr b13 ... 95th percentile for height.
