Trans help plz!
First off let me say im still new to these sr's, so I apologize in advance for any dumb questions lol.I have a 94 sentra ser with a b14 LSD trans in it. I was driving and having some fun with a mustang and when I shifted from 3rd to 4th it went into gear then it felt like the clutch slipped, I was getting revs but not really accelerating. I took it out of 4th and put it back in and it was fine. I then tried to duplicate the problem to no avail. When I went to go to the store later it would not go into reverse. You really couldn't feel it go into the gear but it would stay like it did. And when u release the clutch it would pop out, sometimes all the way sometimes partially (u could hear a slight whine). When I tried to just hold it in gear it would move about a foot then just grind. I did also notice that my clutch started engaging a little lower. (almost all the way to the floor) I'm not sure if it's a clutch issue or a tranny issue? And I have no clue how to adjust the clutch either. I got under it and looked for the cable but couldnt find anything. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would pull the tranny and inspect. Sounds like the TOB came off the clips or the clutch plate is roasted.

There is alot if threads that show how to adjust the clutch cable, however, thais may not solve your issue.

Sorry, I just moved and don't have Internet yet. I'm using the tapatalk app on my iPhone and the search on it is horrible lol. Hopefully it's an easy fix...

Sounds like the clutch is going. You prob popped the clips off tob like ^ said.

Clutch cable is on top of the tranny. You want to tighten it to get it to grab higher off the floor.

Can you get to the cable without dropping the trans?

x3 on likely throw-out bearing issue.

Absolutely. The stock air box is the only thing really blocking you from getting to it from up top.

Well I know the stock air box is not there anymore. Can any one post a pic of what it looks like? Or a link to a thread that has one? And a buddy of mine at work said he thought it sounded like a synchro went out? And just a FYI right now it has a 6 puck sprung XTD stage 3 eBay clutch
