well the build i used those rods on were the honda build, it was a honda but same concept, i was running a b16 block stroked to 2.0 with 7:8:1 compression they were coated, but i had low compresion for the large gt35r turbo and HIGH psi.
if you go with 8:5:1 on your sr20det you will be more than fine.
with my current sr20det build i have the wiseco pistons and 8:8:1 compression which i think is a very nice compression ratio to go along with the gt2871r i have (also running the .86ar) definitly helps with spool.
i would definitly build the block with a outlook of the highest ammount of psi/whp you could possibly want, also with the largest turbo th block might see, that will give you a good range to start out with... like have range for running the gt28rs to the sc61
