On my specific car, I had notchy/bad shifting with stock everything. The trans seems to be a bit worn by the previous owner, thus I sometimes couldn't even shift into certain gears.

I got the heavier hammer shifters from Mitsu guys, and most of the issues went away. I still have issues shifting into reverse, but who doesn't on an SR20

I'm with you on wanting stock height. That was one of the selling points of the Pacesetter, that it was only about 1.25" shorter than stock (depending on adjustment) which was much taller than anything else being offered.

it's cool dude, I understand and wouldn't mind trying to figure out what's the best way of saying it.

Keo whens that last time you touched a pacestter? Just asking....cause a ton is alot. Jumping in my nx with the ps and then my se-r with the b&m you can't tell the difference otyer then the ps is a shorter throw. It will also depend more on your tranny fluid choice AND the temp of tue fluid when you drive it how it feels more then the shifter its self as to how "notchy" it feels.

it's been about year since I drove the car and only had it in there for like 2 months before I put the B&M in. This was on a B15 running shockproof.

I think he knows I don't like them, surprise you didn't say "I have one and I like it."

edit: last I checked, he don't run BC in his Lotus or Miata. he's Mr. I get my coilvoers re-valved every month!
