Thread: Rear Seat Removal?

Ever seen the back of Project Phoenix? Very cool design.

No tools. Since ive owned this car its been rock solid. Only time it did break down on me was because of my 2.4. Not the cars fault u know the story...

After I took mine out I covered the from the floor carpet behind the seats, the rest of the way back. I used some black boat carpet from Lowes and some double sided glue tape and a heat gun. I have un-done it since to just paint and again to putting the seat back for the dog and the baby.

do u have pics of the carpet? installed?

Nope sorry, it was pretty straight forward just imagine carpet instead of paint, stretching into the curves. It helped keep noise down if there was stuff in the boot or not. I didn't do anything elaborate with foam padding or particle board (the stuff like peg board), but if I was to do it again I would. Like make 2-3 panels and glue foam and carpet to the board so it could be removed/replaced easier.

Clean it up repaint original car color best way to go in my opinion! God for bid u wanna sell te car in its original condition or just wanna put seats back in u know ur ahit is fresh as soon as weather breaks I'm doing mine up see ya at the convention!
