Thread: U12???

I have been doing research on a u12. I plan on use the u12(Sr20det) in my b14 but i have not yet found anything about if you can still use the b14 cluster or you have to get the u12 cluster? Will the u12 cluster fit or would you have to do some rewiring in the b14 cluster? The reason why i ask is cause no one has said anything about getting or using a different cluster on this swap.

You can use your stock gauge cluster no problem.

That is great to know I did find a front clip just in case for 1800-2000 1995 u12

I don't think you really need the entire frontclip... certainly won't hurt, but you won't be able to use most of whats in the clip.

Ya but u can always sell some parts off it and the rest take to a scrap yard for some more money.. But ya it's just more work and overkill.. Unless untru to do a rhd swap

Um..what about the ecu I also found a u12 motor and ecu with it but it doesn't say if it's manual or automatic! Does not list the ecu number. Does that matter?

The clip I know is a manual.
