We'll finish off the wiring and loose ends (and case of beer) this weekend and then it should be running by Sunday.

Joe, the other J in 2J racing is an Italian race car driver, so he can be "passionate".

His main thing is, bring it to a real race track and push it in a real race, and he'll school you (directed to chapnutz! and ashtonser since they went full on troll mode)

Joe has been in the Nissan world since the original SE-R board, with Kojima, Cadel, Paule, etc. Joe did a DET swap into a B14 back in 96/97, probably the first.

We love the Nissan swap-a-roo game.......... Where a QR goes, a VQ easily goes...... and I got one on a stand, and one in a box

You swap the whole K-member and Sub-frame, control arms, knuckles, axles, etc. a VQ is more or less a bolt in at that point. So..... that possibly pushes the B13 forward too if people stay open minded.

The QR20 is a possible performer, and a QR22 (qr25 w/ SR crank) is too....... don't know 'till you try. The head flow and rod to stroke ratios of either of those combinations trump the SR. I'm not saying the SR is garbage by any means. I'm just saying if you write off one option because you can't see past your own limitations and preconceptions, someone else will always be faster....... until you figure out how to do what they did because it's warm and safe in the box so to speak.

Thanks to everyone who understands what we are doing, and why we are doing it.

We're working on 2 right now, one NA and one boosted. Nothing to crazy about the builds.... minor crank work and some 150mm rods for a nice 1.74:1 rod stroke ratio and 2 2 liters with an 89mm bore.

i remember him talking about it, not sure if it ever happened.

actually now that i think about it he did. he was from down south.

did a de crank in a qr block with a turbo.

i think he even posted some vids of some pulls. heard nothing about it after that.

curious to know how long it lasted.

stratton.

it makes 500whp, still running, needs some fuel system upgrades so he can reach his 1000hp goal with the new turbo

My buddy has a spec v intake and a muffler tip, I got an intake and a muffler tip on my se-r b14 with either 18 or 19 degrees of advance timing and he walks me. By about a car and a half. There must be something wrong with my car
