Thread: Had it weighed again

In 2004 it came it at 2120lbs. Today it was 1980lbs.

Sweetness... What all is still OEM metal on the car? My interior is garbage on my NX and so it'll get replaced eventually, but would rather have a race car look than a garbage car look.

That's awesome. Do you still have the stock T-Tops? or did you get them replaced for something lighter?

It's all still stock metal. Just alot has been removed lol. If I was so cheap I'd have bought one of the carbon fiber hatches.

Still have the stock T-tops but that weight was without them. I usually take them out when I race my car so that's how I wanted it weighed. It'd be nice if my track had scales so I could get a weight with the lenso's and slicks on it.


Either way I can't believe I got it under 2klbs.

man cf hood,hatch, and lose the doorpanels and you are creeping down to like 1700-1800lb!!

Part of the hoods framing is gone, and the door panels aren't all there either lol. Either way, yeah I could get it lighter. Good chance I'll put a small fuel cell in it before long. That should drop a few more lbs.

im sure im in the vacinity, but im thinking im around 2200 give or take but most likely on the plus side.

People at the dragstrip are always amazed at what it runs. I'm usually the ONLY import there though lol. Too many people don't understand that when you have less weight to move, you can do it with less hp.
