ok lets clear some things up for you man.

B13 = sentra

also the nx1600 and nx2000 are both technically b13's

B14 = 200sx

B14 = sentra

B15 = sentra se 2.0

ok thats it for the nissans, now lets do the infiniti's

P10 = Infiniti G20 - 91-97?

P11 = Infiniti G20 99-02?

b13,b14,b15 and p10,11 are just Chassis codes pretty much.. nissan uses all sorts of codes like that dating all the way back to early datsuns. just helps to identify what chassis your talkin about ect.

Also the Infiniti G20 T's have limited slip transmissions, i believe even the auto's are LSD.

Another thing is 200sx's were strictly 2 door an the sentra was strictly 4 door, there are 1.6 liter 200sx's and even sr20 b14 sentra's, they are called SE-L's

also sometimes that site will put them as no lsd but if you can get a picture you can tell for yourself if its lsd or not.

That is the best search engine for used parts on the internet, many junk yards use it themselves. If you can't find it on there for some reason, it will have to come from a forum or a random junk yard that isn't into the 21st century yet. I have also gotten improper listings as far as lsd and non lsd goes with sr transmissions on car-part as it is just the information that the junkyard typed in the description. It is best to get a pic unless it is still in a car in which that way you can find out what kind of transmission it is by the model. You think finding a Nissan tranny with only 2 choices is hard to get right, try sourcing come volvo, bmw or other euro transmissions with like 3-8 choices, lol

Time for some tough-love my friend. Read the following very carefully.

That is a terrific idea. You should make one.

Do you know what I knew about suspensions before I wrote The Suspension Thread? Absolutely nothing. I did not know if we had struts or shocks.

http://www.sr20-forum.com/information-library/1801-b13-b14-b15-suspension-information.html

It prints out at over 80 pages. It's posted on four (4) different forums that I know of (all with my permission) and in two (2) different languages. On just two (2) of the websites it has been hit right at 100,000 times. Currently 33,804 times on this forum, and 66,176 times on sr20forum dot com. Which kind of freaks me out.

You know how I put that monstrous Suspension Thread together? Re-SEARCH.

Do you know how much I knew about how to Search? Nothing. Never used a search engine on a forum before in my life.

im not good with locating things by searching ill be the first to admit it and i do better if i ask the questions instead of searching and finding a wrong answer and going by that wrong answer.
but with the motor stuff ill do my research. but with trannys i just couldnt research that cause im so clueless. and there probaby real simple too.

This my new friend, is unacceptable. It is a bunch of excuses. It is lazy. It is flat-out against the rules on every single car forum I have ever visited or joined.

A few years back, before I mellowed, I would have flamed you to living crisp over that last paragraph. Charcoaled your young ass to a cinder. Flamed you until the thread was closed. You would have hated me. If you don't believe that, search sr20forum dot com. I was extremely nasty, impatient, and fucked with lazy non-searching newbs to entertain myself. Further, the Forum Rules supported my position. It caused all kinds of drama.

If every single newb, like yourself, took that attitude you show, we would all be fucked. There would be so many threads about the same subjects, with the same answers, from the same guys, that those that provide answers would get very, very sick of answering. The newbs that needed answers would not get them, nor would they Search for themselves. And when someone did search they would have 1-bazillion un-researched threads to comb through to find the answers.

You have been granted an unofficial grace-period, and helped tremendously in this thread. I have been a huge help to you, and am very glad that you appreciate it.

However, this is NOT the norm, NOT going to continue, and you need to learn how to Search and find your own answers. Period.

FIRST you do the re-Search, if you are still unsure of the answers, THEN you make a new thread to clarify things. So you don't make mistakes.

DO NOT get your back up about what I just typed. DO NOT argue with me about it. DO NOT protest. Take what I just typed as motherfucking Gospel From Heaven and continue to wisely follow my advice, which means learning how to SEARCH.

This should help:

Search tips from HJBarker & crew - SR20 Forum

I'm even being helpful as I straighten out your lazy-ass thinking process. Which will help you tremendously in the long run.

My therapist would be so proud.

Does that change your answer Mr. Ashton?

Don't get me wrong, I hate the B13/14 trannies. However, for the cost of the parts alone, it might be worth it if someone (like our new friend) is on a strict budget.

Shawn b I read all of of what you just typed and I CANT argue with what you said.
I was being lazy as to I just got the car and its already messed up. I freaked out and made the thread. That's my luck though. But I promise you Shawn that I'll do the research first before I make a new thread to clutter up the boards.

I can't tell you how much I thank you for helping me.
I'm doing my reading tonight! So Shawn I have just one more question.
Where should I start?
With this I mean what would be a good 1st thread I could read about a b13 sr20ve-t car?
I know not all cars are the same and have diff tunes, but it could get me started in the right direction.
I want to learn all I can about the car and the sr20ve motor. I'll do my research! I promise guys.

In what area of WV are you in?? I will be making multiple trips to Summit Point this year for some HPDE as well as some SCCA and NASA racing (I crew for a ITB car currently).

When my car is ready (hopefully within the next month or 2), I am willing to come up to your neck of the woods if you are willing to meet.

P.S Shawn, as you have seen, I removed myself from this thread several posts ago .

Mr sr20, as mentioned before, you have some leg work to do!! I just did a simple search on google and revealed every single question you have asked and the answer (some you have asked several times and in multiple instants the SAME question..........)

You can PM me offline if you wish
