Yeah, there's 1 ignition wire coming from the car. In the original cluster, there's only 1 IGN wire, on the digital cluster there's about 3-4. You'll have to attach multiple wires from the digital cluster to that IGN wire. The same goes for a couple of GND wires on the digital cluster (also, 1 of the Illumination wires is also considered a GND (although the wire color is different, as in not black)).

Acc wire is actually the wire that powers the "battery" of the clock. Which makes the clock keep track of time, even if the key is in the off position. Wire it to the same wire on the stock cluster (it should say the same, or maybe it says "batt", and connects somewhere near the clock display).

Thanks again MOJO

As for you sunny, try what I did. Just matching wires from this thread to double check everything, HOW TO: B13 cable/electronic cluster swaps - SR20 Forum. Cause 91-92 is different from 93-94 obviously.

that work way better . thank you

ground M33-27 to 13 turn signal ground shared and 25 shared ground
Empty slot M33-25

Middle 10 slot, offset plug black

Tach ground (add a ground or use one that’s unused) ? not sure
Black (bottom left) – Ground for speedo only to 34 speedo ground
Ground for high beam indicator M32-12 to 25 shared ground
high beam indicator M32-11 to 6 beam+
tach signal M30-39 to 30 tachometer

illumination M33-21 to 12 and 29 ill -
illumination M30-40 to 33 and 16 ill +
temp ground M102-3 to 25 shared ground

would this work for the 93-94 or no . im looking at the plug numbers so im guessing it shuld be the same as the 93-94 .

It should be pretty close besides the vss wires cause mine is mechanical. Also I noticed that "door open M102-2 to 7 door" is actually 20 door on my nx cluster.

Like MOJO said, if you take the clusters and set them side by side you, they say on the back of them where every plug wire goes too....sort of, doesn't take a genius to follow the circuit board/sheet.

I used the top half of this (nx cluster) for pin recognition btw*

COUPLE PICS.

1st pic is a good example of difference between digital clusters. See the "EXH"? That's not on all Digital clusters. As well as OD OFF for example.

But, I do like your approach!

Thanks , first thing I read was how you said almost everything was different on the already done write ups. Therefore, at the start, I decided I was going to have to take a different approach then following those that have already been done in a HOW TO fashion.

ok after reading over and over i think i came up with something that will work for me . im using a 91 NX1600 Digital Cluster into a 93 Sentra Ser .

using this link that was posted up a few post back : http://www.sr20forum.com/technical-information-library/121146-how-b13-cable-electronic-cluster-swaps.html

it was very helpful

also used the center plug that MOJO wrote up to help figure that wire indications .

Yeah, considering the center plug on the NX cluster apparently doesn't change. I think I'm gonna try and work something up as far as a diagram goes for my (91-92) cluster for those, like me, that hate to do the grunt work =p
