Couple of questions. Have the pigtail and the cluster, Marked all the wires on the pigtail as well.

On my 91 cluster harness

Pin- M102-5 Low fuel

where would I attach this to on the NX pigtail? Pin number 5 (fuel) or pin number 26 (fuel gauge)?

***

Pin 25 (shared ground) on the NX pigtail. I'm guessing I can use this as the ground for batter, temp , high beam, tach , clock, and whatever else needs grounded beside speedo?

***

Since I'm running a mechanical speedo, to transfer over I'm guessing I would just:

Splice b13 M102-6 (speedo) to NX 24 (speedo to ecu)

then just run the wires from the electronic speedo in the trans to NX pin 32 (speedo to cluster) and 34 (speedo ground).

***

The Two wire buzzer..what the hell is this thing and is it even necessary?

********

Thanks for any help that can be provided, these are the only issues I can see. Your diagrams are a bit different than mine so I'm doing this based on fsm pinouts and forum made guides.

Are you doing a Analogue to Digital swap? If so, if the Low Fuel pin is the pin that connects to the Low Fuel indicator on the dash (the bulb that turns on when there's just a little fuel left), you need to connect it to the plug that is NOT the center plug on the digital cluster (can't really remember what the actual names are on the digital cluster, I think the indicator is called "Fuel" and the fuel gauge/meter itself is called FM (fuel meter) or something). If you don't understand what I'm talking about, just trace your pin M102-5 to whatever indicator it goes, and find the corresponding indicator on the new cluster.

A shared group can be a ground, as well as ignition. Trace the lines on the back of the cluster to find out, they are either labeled as GND or IGN. Another possibility to find out which is which is checking the color. So far, all ignition wires were yellow, whereas the ground wires were black.

Splice b13 M102-6 (speedo) to NX 24 (speedo to ecu)

If you are switching from a mech. speedo to a digital speedo, then yes. Polarity of the wires that come from the speedo doesn't matter.

The Two wire buzzer..what the hell is this thing and is it even necessary?

If your current buzzer works just fine, don't bother with it. Just remove it from the old cluster, and attach it to the new one.

(I'm a little puzzled by your comment about it though, you make it sound like you never heard a buzzer whenever you opened the door and removed your keys with the lights still on)

Like I have said in my thread (why doesn't anyone listen?!), the wire-diagrams that SinisterSentra once made are only partly usable. Only the center plug on the digital cluster is the same for all digital clusters. Teh rest of the pins may differ between clusters.

Thanks a bunch man, I just wanted some sort of confirmation that I had it right.

It's just hard to believe that that little box behind the cluster produces such an annoying sound lol

I read this a few times in a few threads =p, I completely understood that haha I found a diagram that seemed to match my exact cluster and went from there. Sinister's diagram more or less just gave me the courage/motivation to try this out...and the free cluster haha

Thanks again MOJO,

quick question MOJO,

Ign and acc wires would go where?. M33-27 on the B13 cluster says, yellow - power for pretty much everything...?
