I run a cat, and keep my car running clean, but had troubles in TX. So "I got a guy, don't worry about it" is what I used. Had to pay a cash "adjustment fee" to make it pass.

Here in Louisiana, there are no emissions testing of any sort. Lights, horn, brakes, done. Yeehaw.

I am in the process of getting the paper work together to get a waiver granted for my car. Hopefully, I am granted Classic plates which will exempt me from emissions. If not then my car will become a trailor queen for another 5 years until it is old enough to be granted collectors plates or I make it a full time drag car. We'll see what happens.

After living in FL for so many years were there is no emissions testing it's hard for me to get my car back to the point of passing.

I live in Kentucky,no emissions or inspection of any kind You can drive anything;smoking, pouring oil,no fenders, all the glass broken, piece of cardboard claiming "lost tag", anything. It's insane.

just dont buy those cans that you pour in your gas tank to pass emissions, they never work.

Or essentially a 'black box' to let 5-0 know what you were up to.

Just sayin.....

Not to get all paranoid. But anything past & including OBDII maintains an record of 'absolute' readings. Including 'maximum velocity attained by said vehicle'.
Give me a car that will NOT snitch on me.
