Gotta love it when things fix themselves. Sorry I didnt text you back. Saw it when I got up and was jumping in the shower then forgot about it. I was going to say resistor as well.

Don't rule out a dead Japanese drifter's ghost trying to fuck with you.

The part is not expensive and even Autozone carries it in stock. Maybe $12

You got a car already? That was fast. You just pick up a b14 locally?

Yep. It's under the glove box and comes out with 2 screws in the b13. The part is about the size of a cassette. believe somewhat similar in the b14. It's very easy to do.

Unlike many of you my fan does not blow on any setting. I do not have A/C in this car(b13) and mainly need the blower for the defrost and heater function. (It gets pretty cold here in florida about a month or two out of the year.) Could my blower motor be completley shot? what remedys other than replacing the resistor could I try? help me out it rains a bunch here and I need the defrost function.

I ran a jumper straight to the battery to determine my fan was bad

So if it runs with direct current then it is still good?
