Thread: Egr and knock sensor code

I have a 96 B14,and recently got these two codes.I went through my pile of parts and took care of a non-functioning egr.I was wondering if that's what caused my knock sensor code.I don't know how it caused it,but they always showed up together.I have an extra knock sensor or two,but don't really feel like digging in there to change it.It would take these codes about a week to show up after resetting them,so I guess I'll know in week anyway.Just wondering if anyone had any input.Preferably USEFUL input
