Its not really a resistor its more of a voltage stabilizer and its not really necessary as I ran without it when my twinfire was being upgraded and had no issues with the performance of the coil. The 3 cut wires that your holding together look like they go to the o2 sensor if im not mistaken going off the color of the wires.

Again just check the fsm it will tell you what you need to know.

capacitor...that's what I meant. It serves the same purpose as the condensors on most dizzy's etc.

yep, Again works just fine without it but i had thrown it out when i tore down the harness. Basicly had to find what pieces and clips i had left since i eliminated all that stuff with the CDI box and quickly wired back up the Ignitor and coil and ran the signal wire to the aem as temporary till my twinfire box arrived back. Worked like a charm.
