Thread: Question about blacktop uk 10:1

I took off the valve cover on a friends car, and what I notice is that there wasnt any cam oil squirters. Is it like that for blacktop motors? Cause i have the redtop supposed to be 10:1 motor and it has cam oil squirters.

Another question I have about his motor is it doesnt have a pvc valve. It has a rubber ring in the hole with a nipple that fits in there perfectly. Is that normal for that motor? Thanx in advance.

Inside the motor looks goods cam are not worn or anything but we would like to know so we dont have motor failure later on down the line.

The black valve cover motor is a UK lowport roller rocker motor that does not come with oil squirters

The Red valve cover motor is an older UK 10 to 1 motor. These come lowport and highport.
