Thread: 02-03 5speed SE-R tranny(not specV) questions

The 2.5L Non specV B15 se-r was made for a couple years.
Whats up with these?
Are they LSD?
Gear ratios?
Anyone know anything about them?
Just wondering if this is an overlooked swap option for our cars.(even though if you went that far,you could just go 6spd)

Wow, I must admit I completely forgot these trannies existed. They are 5-speed with O/D if I remember correctly. They are open differential though (Non LSD). I think I remember them being referred to as "pretty beefy", but it's been awhile. They were used on the '02-'06 Altima's that had the QR25DE as well.

* Looks like the Altima had shorter gearing in first and second, possibly to move the extra weight of the Altima.
