g20 ecu is it any diff?
Are there any advantages in swapping out my 96 200sx se-r ecu for a g20 ecu. what kind of gains can you expect?

raises the rev limit to 7800 and removes the speed limiter

Don't forget the fans kick on at 203* instead of 212*

no gains. You can rev higher but you wont make power past 7k anyway. And if you have a mile of straight road you can exceed 115mph

Off topic but the b13 and obd1 g20 ecus have different fuel maps. Ran a g20 ecu on my ve swap and it ran rich as he'll wouldn't exceed 120. Ran the stock b13 ecu and the car cleaned up immediately. Looked down and speedo was at almost 130.

Find a high port intake cam and put that in. That we give you some extra kick.

But an ecu swap and a high port cam is a cheap swap. And it works.

It also gives you full ownership of the car. You never really bond with your SR until you've done at least a cam swap
