Thread: DIY heated seats?

Wondering if anyone has installed heating pads in their seats? I'm in the process of getting a new daily with leather but I want heated seats because of the cold CT winters. I found a few different kits on ebay with everything needed to install. It looks good to me, only concern really is taking the leather skins off and then putting them back on. If anyone has any experience with this please post up.

i can attest to heated seats, the g35x keeps my ass warm all winter and then some.

What kind of car? All you will likely need is hog ring plyers and hog rings. I think hf sells a kit.

No longer going to be doing this, the car I was going to get fell through. It was a B15 SE with leather.
