Chip? What is this chip you speak of?

Stock SR20DE engine with stock valvetrain..Personally, chipped or not, I wouldn't take it any higher than 7500 RPM. Im sure you could rev it to 8000 but from the sounds of your modifications you will not be making power up there. If you have other motors and don't care about this one then take it up to 8000 and see. If this is your DD (daily driver) I would count my blessings when revving it to 7500 RPM. Just my ipinion.

For the 9 months that I had my T60 setup I was revving to 7900rpm, on a DET with only S4 cams.
Never had an issue

Right now I have the same DET but N/A and on stock cams I have the rev limiter set to 7900, but I never take it past 7100, I can feel that anything past that is just revving for fun, but not making any power, more like losing power.

I took 2nd gear to about 7800-7900 and it pulled me strong to about 62mph. So i don't know, good to know though.

@ 7800 you would be at like 64mph, 7600 is about 62. Rev it like my avatar! VROOM VROOM!! haha jk don't do it you stop making power and its useless anyway once you hit around 7600
