Thread: name these plugs/sensors

as i did my oil change today i decide to check over the rest of my motor for unusal stuff....and found two sensors ive never seen before unplugged...

first was this one that wasnt connected to the MC....i saw on the MC that something was missing..... then i found it danglng under the fuel filter....what does/is it for and ive benn drving like this for 2 years now

second is this one....went almost into the driversside wheel well but there is no other plug close to it

The second ones looks like the plug that went to the speed sensor on my tranny on my b13. But if that was unplugged you would know because your speedometer wouldn't work.

NAH MY SPEEDO WORKS AND THE CABLE IS IN THE TRANY....it looks like it went into the fuse box thing by my drivers side headlight but theres no ohter connector it would go to?????

First one is a sensor that lets you know if you're low on brake fluid, second one most likely connects to another plug that goes to the driver side fog light.

fog lights are all good man........what about stock air box????i though only b14s had that sensor

I'm pretty sure its for the OEM fogs, are you using stocks?

not using stock fogs, but using the stock harness that was connected to the stock fogs with orange and black wires........

k i just checked the colors of the two wires in the plug.....they are solid blue and blue with orange stripe.....

that sensor on b14 airboxes is the IAT, b13's dont rock that

that second harness goes to the stock foglights
the first one has already been answered.

its not the harness for the drivers side marker light or the turn signal light? the plug looks alot like those ones
