Condensation under oil cap
tonight i checked my oil because of recent minor drippings, so far i've only put a 1/4 of a quart in an its been 1000 miles so nothing major.
anyway when i went to put said 1/4 of a quart in water came dripping off the oil cap as i set it on the passenger strut tower.. i was like WTF? so i busted out the UV flash light..
well the anti freeze is green an when the black light hits it, it glows bright green. the oil both in the engine and new in the container both glow a darker green but the water that came off of the cap was clear and did not react to the light at all, so this tells me that its not coolant.
im curious tho, i've never seen that before without havin a blown gasket which usualy either oil gets in the coolant or coolant in the oil and neither is happening.. It has been REALLY wet lately and i havent really been driving the car alot lately.. its also been Very cold. im wondering if that may have something to do with it?
