there is a write up on how to reground the maf on this forum. I just cut the ground going to the maf 6-8" before the plug and solder a new wire on that I will ground to the intake manifold or the main frame rail ground.

I see now, it really is! However, it accelerates just fine buut when i come to a stop such as a red light the idle starts to lope around until i give it some gas then it goes up to 1k rpm and idles steady and so on. Any ideas?

That sounds like the iacv is not adjusted right or the tps needs to be adjusted. Every time I do a swap or replace a motor I do a few things that make the car run better.
1) set tps voltage to .48 volts
2) set the base idle with the car full warm
3) verify the base timing is 15 deg
4) clear out the learned values in the ecu and force and relearn(this requires a consult II or nissan data scan.
