No. I would leave them off and I usually remove them on all the jdm motors i put in or any time ive had to take the plenum off. I usually just put the small side brackets back on but even then sometimes i leave all support brackets off. The plenum and runners is not that heavy and is very heavy duty. There is no need to worry about cracking or breaking of them...ever. Nissan just went way overkill on the bracket thing and they do on every motor.
Ive never had any issue with the intake manifolds breaking or cracking and can go probably 20 more years without issues.
Sure some will say they put them there for a reason and they should be put back and blah blah blah. If it was a customers car I was working on I would but on my own cars or friends performance cars, nope. Not a chance. Saves a lot of heartache if you ever have to take it back off for any reason. Simple as that and the fact its not gonna break without them.
